JK Rowling is a writer for Harry Potter. He was born in England on July 21, 1965. His father was an aircraft engineer and his mother was a science technician. He loved to write stories since childhood. He used to write stories and tell them to his younger sister. His parents often quarreled, which affected his studies. JK Rowling took the entrance test for his BA at Oxford University in 1982, but was denied admission to Oxford University due to his less marks.  Eventually he did a BA in French and Classic at the University of Exeter in 1986.

One day, Rowling was on her way to London from Manchester,her train was four hours late, forcing her to sit on a platform for four hours.  The story of Harry Potter was born in his mind and he started writing the story. A few days later his mother died. After the death of his mother he went to Portugal and there he started teaching English to the student.J K Rowling teaching the student during the day time  and writing Harry Potter at night.He met with the Jorge Arantes in 1992 and  fell in love and got married. Shortly after the marriage,J K Rowling gave birth to a daughter, whom he named Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes.But the marriage did not last long.J K. Rowling was divorced. After the divorce, she moved with her daughter from Portugal to Scotland to visit her sister. 

In August 1995, she completed the first novel in her series name was  Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.She took it to 12 publishers to publish.  The publishers was not ready to be published. Finally, the bloomsbury publisher decided to publish his first novel. JK Rowling wrote a total of 7 novels, which were also filmed. Harry Potter is read in 200 countries.  Have earned one billion dollars from Harry potter.
